Natasha Abadilla – Domestic Abuse – A survivor’s story (Podcast)
Natasha Abadilla was in a physically abusive relationship for almost two years. She shares her personal story of how the abuse started, why she stayed in the relationship for so long, and how she was ultimately able to leave her abuser.
Natasha’s story is surprising in many ways. How can this happen to a successful student at Stanford? Why did she hide it for so long? Why didn’t anybody help?
Natasha Abadilla is a medical student at Stanford Medical School. Her views on medical student life and social issues can be found on her blog as well as on Twitter: @natashhaabadilla.
