Shikha Jain, MD, FACP is a board-certified hematology and oncology physician on faculty at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy and the Physician Director of Media Relations for the Rush University Cancer Center. Dr. Jain’s clinical focus is Gastrointestinal oncology and her research interests include neuroendocrine tumors, precision oncology, immunotherapy and hepatocellular carcinoma.  She has several papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Her research interests also include diversity and equity in medicine and the impact of social media on medicine.

Dr. Jain is the founder and host of the podcast “The Rush Cast.” She has written for several organizations including Doximity, KevinMD, ASCO Connection. She was selected as a thought leader by Doximity and completed a year as a Doximity writing fellow.  She has also been an invited speaker on these topics and will be speaking at the Harvard Women’s Leadership course this fall.  She is the founder of the social media group Dual Physician Families, and she is the COO of SoMeDocs (Doctors on Social Media).
